Leaving from the Village Quay

Oulton Broad and the Waveney Valley

Cruising past St Olaves and Somerleyton we navigate two Victorian swing bridges and follow the railway line to picturesque Oulton Broad. Our berth is between Everitts park and the Broads southern gateway Mutford sea lock. Approx 5 hours including shore time.

Breydon Water and Windmills (4 hours)

As we leave Reedham the Victorian railway bridge swings open for our passage along the river Yare. We encounter Polkeys Windmill, the famous Berney Arms Inn, a Roman Fort at Burgh Castle and teeming wildlife as we cross Breydon Water. A modern bridge will lift

 for our mooring in the busy port of Great Yarmouth.

Sailing through picturesque

Oulton Broad and along the river Waveney we pass

redundant steampumps and follow the railway line to  Somerleyton and St.Olaves.  Victorian railway bridges swing open for us along the way and we traverse the length of the New Cut canal before mooring in the friendly village of Reedham
